Veterinarians

Brenda Reed

DVM

I have been the Owner of Ina Road Animal Hospital since March 2013 and received my DVM from Colorado State University in 1996! I followed my family members to Tucson in 2002 and never left!

My happiest moment is when a patient in the hospital feels well enough and safe enough to eat. I enjoy all the variety of general practice and keeping up on the latest updates in veterinary medicine. I am a member of AVMA, Southern Arizona VMA, Arizona VMA, and VIN.

My husband and I live with our two dogs, and we enjoy traveling, camping, and hiking.

Liane D. Devey

DVM

I grew up in Scottsdale, AZ and joined the team as a Veterinarian in September 2007! I obtained my Bachelors of Science from the University of Arizona in 1997, earned my Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Colorado State University in 2002, and returned to Southern Arizona in 2007 to work with a friend and classmate. I’ve been here since then.

I’ve had a desire from a very young age to become a veterinarian. I enjoy working with dogs and cats, as well as the people attached to them. “Seeing people reunited with their pet after an injury or illness is quite rewarding”. I particularly enjoy soft tissue surgery, dentistry, and ultrasound.

Outside of work, I am married with four children, and have four cats and two dogs that I adopted through rescue. I find joy in home improvement projects and the challenges they provide. I also had the opportunity to host a radio show called Pet Talk for nearly 3 years in Tucson!

Devin James

Associate Veterinarian

I’m currently working as an Associate Veterinarian, and I started at this practice about two years ago. Originally, I hail from Gilbert, Arizona. After completing my undergraduate studies at the University of Arizona, I pursued my dream of becoming a veterinarian at Oregon State University.

My journey into the veterinary field was really an extension of my lifelong love for animals. Ever since I was a child, I’ve felt a deep connection with them, and I knew early on that I wanted to dedicate myself to ensuring they have the best possible quality of life. Professionally, I’m still in the early stages of my career, but I’m eager to learn and grow. I recently became a member of the Southern Arizona Veterinary Medical Association, which I’m excited about. While I’m still exploring different aspects of veterinary medicine, I’ve found a particular interest in diagnostic ultrasounds. There’s something incredibly rewarding about using technology to uncover what’s going on inside an animal’s body and being able to provide the best care possible.

Outside of work, I lead a pretty active life. My girlfriend and I share our home with quite the menagerie – three dogs and three cats, to be exact! We’re both proud alumni of the University of Arizona, so you’ll often find us cheering on our alma mater at sporting events. And when I have some free time on the weekends, you can bet I’ll be out on the golf course, soaking up the sunshine and enjoying some well-deserved downtime.

Meg Williams

DVM

I recently joined Ina Road Animal Hospital as an associate veterinarian, and I am thrilled to be here!

My journey to veterinary medicine began with an internship at a wildlife rehabilitation center in Fort Collins, CO, where I graduated with my B.S. in Wildlife Biology from Colorado State University. From there, I spent two years working with the veterinary team at the Tennessee Aquarium in Chattanooga, TN, before starting veterinary school here in Tucson. I graduated with my DVM from the University of Arizona (Bear Down!) and have been a permanent Tucson resident ever since.

Animals have always been an essential part of my life. No matter if they are fluffy with tails or smooth with scales, I love them all. Although I initially planned on a career in wildlife biology, I quickly realized that I love treating individual patients rather than studying wild animal populations.

Outside of work, I enjoy yoga, horseback riding, video games, and spending time with my big orange cat, Ned!

It is a great honor and responsibility to care for beloved pets and their people, particularly in times of need.
