Dogtoberfest 2016

October 23rd - St. Gregory School on Craycroft

3231 N. Craycroft Rd.

10am - 2pm

DOG ACTIVITIES - (10:00 am - 1:45 pm)  Complimentary with admission to event. Subject to change.
Paw Painting: Let your dog express his/her artistic style by painting a picture just for you.
Tunnel Fun: Help your dog meet the challenge of going through various size tunnels - a Handi-Dogs trainer will be there to guide you.
Speed Dog: Find out how fast your dog can run, as we clock him/her with a radar gun.
Obstacle Course: Try out your ability to weave your way through our course, with your leashed dog at your side, as you try to balance a ball on a spoon.
Scent Game: See how good your dog's nose is, as you let him sniff out the hidden treats.
Wiener Bobbing: Can your dog get the hot dog out of a bucket of water?
Pet Photos: Have a photo taken with your dog(s).
Blessing of the Dogs: Stop by the St. Mark's booth and have your dog blessed.

CONTEST ENTRY
A $5 entry fee per dog for entry into all morning or all afternoon contests will be charged. 100% of the proceeds benefit Handi-Dogs.  Contests will be held at 10:50 am and 12:45 pm in the Stage Area - see above.

Back by popular demand. The popular bluegrass band Sonoran Dogs Bluegrass Band will be performing live!

HUNGRY DOG FOOD & BEER GARDEN (10:00 am - 1:30 pm)
Food and beverages will be available for sale. A Beer Garden will welcome those 21 years of age or older, with ID.  For just $1, treat your dog to a Dogtini - a special 'cocktail' - made just for him/her.  

RAFFLES (10:00 am - 1:30 pm)
Tickets $5 or 5 for $20, with all proceeds benefiting Handi-Dogs.  You don't have to be present to win. Drawings will begin at 1:40ish.

VENDORS (10:00 am - 2:00 pm)
Be sure to stop by all the vendors/exhibitors offering unique merchandise, services and information.

Doggie Dash 'n Dawdle

October 29, 2016, 8am to Noon

Riverfront Park - 551 W Lambert Lane

This event is an all-ages, fun, 2-mile dash or 1-mile dawdle for you and your furry friend, as well as a dog festival for you, your pet, family and friends!

The Dash ' n Dawdle event:
* Will be professionally timed!
* Race begins at 8:45 a.m.
* Dash 'n Dawdle Fee: $15 until October 1 (t-shirt included until Oct 1)

The FREE Dog Festival will:
* Be from 9 a.m. to noon
* Have raffle prizes with proceeds to benefit local dog charities
* Have a Dog costume contest
* Have training and flyball demonstrations
* Offer Canine Good Citizen testing
* Have local dog organizations and businesses
* Have a dog biscuit decorating station and much more!
